Children's Ministry Values
Purpose:
Kids need Jesus, so our jobs as teachers is to teach and show them the Gospel.
Vision:
To see the children of Calvary Chapel Kaiserslautern become disciples of Jesus Christ that will serve their local church bodies whether here at CCK-Town, back in America, or wherever the Lord may have them serve.
Mission:
To serve CCK-Town by discipling the children of CCK-Town.

Core Values:
Our core values can be summed up by the acrostic C - H - I - L- D.
Christ-centeredness
Everything that we do needs to be centered on the work and person of Jesus Christ. This especially rings true for children’s ministry (Ps. 1; 2 Chr. 7:14; Gal. 3:13-14; Ps. 103:1-4)
Humble Service
We should always serve with humility and love, serving the children of CCK-Town, each other, and Jesus to give God all the glory and see the Gospel message change lives. (Gal. 5:13; 2 Cor. 4:11; Ps. 2:11; 1 Pet. 5:5).
Integrity
We, as ministers, need to have integrity. Our walks with God should overflow with integrity (Titus 2:7; Pro. 20:7; Ps. 119:1; Ps. 26:11)
Love
This one is pretty self-explanatory and I would recommend each of you to read 1 Cor. 13 to better understand what love is
Discipleship
We are called to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. This is ultimately what we are doing in children ministry. This should always be at the back of your mind when you are teaching the lesson in your respective classes. These young children will one day serve in the church universal and God has given us this responsibility to develop the children of CCK-Town into fully mature disciples of Christ (Matt. 28:19-20).
