WE BELIEVE that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, that they are fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice.
WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE that mankind is sinful by nature and separated from God. Repentance from sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come to a true relationship with God.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose in-dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; further, we believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
About Us
In Luke 10, Jesus lays out what I believe are the three pillars of the Christian life.
We are called to a life of engagement. We are ‘sent out’ into the world to engage with people, tell them about Jesus and that He is coming.
We are called to a life of engagement. We are ‘sent out’ into the world to engage with people, tell them about Jesus and that He is coming.
The second pillar takes precedence over our calling. It is our attitude. We are to approach the Christian life with the attitude of a servant and the heart of a good neighbor. We must be willing to sacrifice our ‘goods’, and show mercy and compassion to those in need around us.
And the final pillar is primary over all. We are to be worshipers. We need to see the beauty and experience the wonder of simply sitting at the feet of Jesus.
This is what we are about. And we invite you to come join us.
Knowing Jesus
Realize that you are a sinner…
We are all sinners. We all fall short of God’s desire for us. The Bible says, “That no one is good, not even one” (Romans 3:10). This is because we are broken and we cannot repair ourselves. Our brokenness separates us from God.
Recognize that Jesus paid the price for your sin when He died on the cross…
The Bible tells us, “God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.
Repent of your sin…
The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19). The word ‘repent’ means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.
Receive Jesus Christ into your life…
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Christ Himself take up residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in…” (Revelation 3:20).
If you would like to know Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins. Right now, I choose to turn from my sins and open the door of my heart to invite You in and allow You to guide and lead my life. I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!!
